Nick Jaffe Demo's G&L ASAT® Classic 'S' Alnico with BBE Stomp Boxes
Chicago based guitarist Nick Jaffe just published a great review of the G&L ASAT® Classic 'S' Alnico. To show the versatility of this great guitar, he incorporates two BBE stomp boxes, including a BBE Two Timer™ TT-2 Dual Mode Analog Delay and a BBE Windowpane™ WP-69 Silicon Fuzz. Check out the killer tones in the video below.
About the BBE Two Timer™ TT-2 Dual Mode Analog Delay: The Two Timer was inspired by the long discontinued DM-2 Delay, which was known for its warm, haunting reverb and tape-like echoes. The Two Timer offers two independent delay times foot switchable via the "time 1/time 2" mode switch. This makes it possible to have one delay set up for a short slapback rhythm sound while another is set to a longer delay for solos. Read more here.
About the Windowpane™ WP-69 Silicon Fuzz: Windowpane's two sequentially-wired silicon transistors are properly biased at the factory and the tone is dialed in with a carefully selected treble roll-off on the second transistor, recalling the slightly mellowed top end of early germanium transistor fuzz pedals. But unlike those old classics, Windowpane fuzz pedals have bulletproof reliability and consistency. Leave your rare vintage fuzz at home and hit the road with a tool that sounds better, anywhere, anytime, every time. That's Windowpane. Read more here.
